Job Description
Structural steel fabricator/ Welder for a busy steel fabrication workshop in Cloverhill, Co. Cavan.
Skills/Requirements:
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Candidates must be competent and able to work on own initiative
- Enthusiastic, hard-working individual who likes to get the job done
- Professional attitude to work
- Excellent communication skill
- Ability to work as part of a team and to follow manufacturing instructions
- Steel Installation experience is a bonus as site installation is available
- Complete welding of structural steel components for our products MIG / MAG and TIG welding processes.
- Majority being MIG Single pass and multi-pass welds
- Lifting and moving components using an overhead gantry crane
- Adhering to quality control standards and inspections, repair of welds as necessary
- Flexible to work outside regular hours if required
- Maintain a high standard of health and safety
- Adhere to training requirements and wear correct PPE
- Steel Installation experience is a bonus as site installation is available
- Painting Experience would be a bonus
- Must have a valid Manual Handling cert and Safe Pass
