CNC Machine Operatives

Responsibilities:

• Setting, programming and operation of CNC machines
• In-process inspection and quality inspection of finished components
• Ensure all processes and procedures are followed
• Achieving production and quality targets
• Ensure that all Health and Safety rules are adhered to at all times
• Tool calibration
• Ensuring the work area is maintained in a clean and organised manner
• Ensuring the CNC machine is maintained in good working order
• Working closely with other Machine Operatives to ensure production targets are achieved

Requirements

• Proven experience as CNC operator
• Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
• Good communication abilities
• Strong team player
• Manual handling certificate
• Excellent Written and Spoken English
• Ability to organise own workload and use initiative
• Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objective
• High level of organisation
• Have a willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team
• Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work is essential
• Self-Motivated and good time keeping and attendance
